Job description

Position Summary: Aluma-Form Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor I. The job involves overseeing production operations to ensure they meet customer requirements and quality standards, while maintaining safety protocols and improving operational efficiency. Responsibilities include supervising production staff, analyzing metrics to identify areas for improvement, and coordinating resources to support production needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that customer requirements and expectations have been accurately identified. 
  • Ensure that production operations are meeting or exceeding customer requirements. 
  • Provide training to ensure knowledge transfer of production processes and procedures including in-process and final quality controls. 
  • Ensure quality standards are met at all times and supported with proper recordkeeping. 
  • Directs, maintains, and enforces safety and quality programs for the production facility. 
  • Maintains production metrics to track Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost improvements. 
  • Supervise staff of production associates and hold them accountable to company policies and procedures. 
  • Monitors operation of plant equipment and systems. 
  • Reviews the operation of plant equipment and systems to minimize production of non-conforming parts, anticipate problems in a timely manner, and identify opportunities for improvement. 
  • Prepares reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving plant operations. 
  • Evaluate root cause and implement corrective action when not meeting or exceeding metrics related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, or Cost. 
  • Work with support groups to ensure required resources are available to meet area requirements. 
  • Communicate expectations to team members. 

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 2+ years of relevant supervisory experience 
  • 2+ years working in a manufacturing facility 

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with MS Windows and Office software is highly preferred 
  • SAP Experience is preferred
