Berjé Inc. is a family-owned business that has been in operation for over seven decades across three generations. The company was originally founded in with creative approach to creating value from byproducts and aromatic raw materials set the stage for Berjé to become a leading supplier within the flavor and fragrance industry. 

Our Production employees are a key component in maintaining customer satisfaction. Entry-level Production Employees are initially responsible for cleaning and raw material handling. This position is primed for growth into Berje’s labeling, repack, blending, and compounding operations. Requirements include strong interpersonal/communication skills, ability to take directions well, and a prioritization of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Assist in the production and fulfillment of customer orders, while maintaining safety and quality standards
  2. Proactively communicate any issues with the Production Management staff
  3. Wash pots and tanks as needed
  4. Safely and efficiently use hand trucks and pallet jacks to move raw materials
  5. Learn to utilize Berje’s ERP system
  6. Follow all safety rules/procedures and maintain an accident and on-the-job injury-free record
  7. Compliance with all relevant SQF procedures and regulations
  8. Work extra hours as needed

Education & Experience: 

  • High School Diploma
  • 1 Year experience in the manufacturing or service industry 

Skills and/or physical requirements:

  • Ability to follow a daily routine and complete tasks independently
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Strong interest in expanding production skills
  • Must be able to stand/walk for 8+ hours a day
