Position: Production Associate

The position is an entry level position with growth opportunities. Position is fulltime and has full benefits, including 401K match, vacation time, annual/monthly bonus potential, health and dental insurance, and many more benefits.

The Production Position will work in the manufacturing facility and follow written instructions to manufacture the finished products as noted on the batch tickets.

The Production Employee will follow batch ticket and other instructions to complete the manufacturing operations. Position will be responsible for manufacturing finished goods in a timely manner and verifying that the products produced meet company's quality standards. Position will also be responsible for operating various valves, switches, mixers, pumps, and other components according to the production requirements. Candidate will follow appropriate Standard Operating Procedures for various job requirements. Ensures compliance with operating policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment and efficient operations; may require the employee to wear safety equipment or gear. Completes appropriate paperwork and/or enters data as required. Assists with maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Performs other duties as assigned. Potential employees are expected to be highly motivated individuals with a desire to achieve an understanding of the entire Gemini process, to work safely, and to understand the batch-making, filling, and warehousing procedures used.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Be able to read all batch tickets thoroughly and have a clear understanding of appropriate manufacturing process.

  • Utilize a variety of equipment to manufacture products.

  • Check scheduling board for batches with highest priority.

  • Check descriptions on raw materials and accurately weigh each raw material using the proper scale.

  • Enter batch tickets into the Assistics computer program.

  • Follow all safety rules and assure work practices are in the guidelines of OSHA standard

  • Need to be able to visually see color variances on different substrates.

  • Partner with the Quality Control Lab for testing and batch approval

  • Keep work areas clean and organized.

  • Follow all company rules and policies.

  • Be able to work as part of a team and alone.

  • Work with employee owners to maximize productivity and efficiency.

  • Maintain a positive attitude in all situations.

  • Report for all scheduled shifts on time and return from breaks and lunches in a timely manner.

  • Work with employees to maximize productivity and efficiency.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
  • Basic Math skills

  • Effective communication skills (i.e. reading and writing)

  • Ability to operate a forklift

  • Basic computer skills

  • High School Diploma or GED
