Volt is immediately hiring multiple Production Workers for a company specializes in the manufacturing of aerospace technologies in Carroll, IA.
As a Production Worker you will:
  • Set up and operate machinery according to standard work.
  • Make machine adjustments
  • Learn how to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
  • Understand and follow quality testing techniques
  • Learn how to inspect products using precision gauges, measuring instruments and equipment
  • Demonstrate proficiency in manufacturing documentation and labor transactions.
  • Support and follow all rules/guidelines/standards set by EHS, Quality, and CI functions as set by your leader and position.
  • Actively participates in the Continuous Improvement process as well as safety related activities

Night shift
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Ability to learn machine operation and basic troubleshooting.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to work with production equipment.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and documentation.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Manufacturing, production, assembly, or machine operation experience preferred.

Pay Rate: $20.50/ hour
