Wolverine Packing's Production Associates work as a team and take pride in creating quality ground beef products. We train our people to build boxes, operate machinery, package meat products, and follow strict safety and quality control guidelines. Wolverine Packing always wants to ensure the best possible service and create food products that are made to the highest standards.

Starting Pay- Day shift starts at $18.50/HR, employees receive a 0.50 cent raise after completing 60 days and then again at 120 days to get to $19.50/HR.

Afternoon shift starts at $19.50/HR, employees receive a 0.50 cent raise after completing 60 days and then again at 120 days to get to $20.50/HR.

Shifts/Hours:

Day Shift- 6am - Approximately 3:00pm. Monday - Friday. Every other Saturday is required.

Afternoon Shift - 2:25pm - until production ends (Approximately 11:30pm). Monday - Friday. Every other Saturday is required.

DUTIES:

· Arrive to work on time, every day, ready to work

· Build boxes

· Package beef products

· Operate machinery

· Follow company policies and procedures as it relates to GMPs, SSOPS, HAACP, and OSHA standards, which ensure food and workplace safety with the highest quality in all aspects of food production

· Maintain a clean work environment

· Work with team members, to create the highest quality ground beef products

· Perform additional tasks as requested by a supervisor

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Experience in food production

· Energetic, respectful and positive attitude

· Able to work quickly and efficiently

· Able to stand 9-10 hours per day in a cold 40° temperature work environment

· Pass a physical examination

· Pass a controlled substance drug screen

· Minimum of 18 years of age
