Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
  • Operates various manufacturing equipment
  • Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
  • Must be able to perform various machine operating tasks: machine setup, loading machine, unloading machine, and check coating viscosity twice per shift, perform prescribed machine troubleshooting, inspecting parts and other prescribed machine operating duties.
  • Must be familiar with the basic machine functions in order to perform the tasks stated above.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One to two years manufacturing experience a plus.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Must be able to read operation standards and complete various daily reports, i.e. quality, production.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLITIES
  • None

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Light to moderate physical effort required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Regularly required to stand, reach, and move about the facility in order to operate assigned equipment for at least eight (8) or more hours per day.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Work performed in a non-air conditioned Plant environment.
  • Will be required to use primer, adhesive, and painting coatings related to job.

Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
