Daher's new Final Assembly Line (FAL) in Stuart, Florida is expanding the company's aircraft manufacturing footprint in North America by supporting the assembly and delivery of the industryleading TBM aircraft. The site brings together production, manufacturing engineering, quality, supply chain, and operations teams to build worldclass aircraft with a focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence. Job Description

Daher is seeking to hire a Production Team Manager to join our new TBM Final Assembly Line in Stuart, Florida. The Production Team Leader is responsible for supervising daily production operations, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and cost targets are achieved. This role leads a team of production employees, coordinates workflow, resolves operational issues, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to meet business requirements.

Please note:

Ability to travel for up to 3 months in Europe (during the transfer phase) is a required part of this position.

Primary Role and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production standards.
  • Lead and coordinate daily production activities to meet production schedules and output goals.
  • Organize team activities according to workload and ensure short-term capacity/load alignment.
  • Lead and manage production teams and supporting functions within the scope.
  • Support operators by providing guidance, instructions, and problem-solving assistance.
  • Regularly perform visual inspections and monitor work progress.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and security standards, as well as company policies. Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Contribute to HR management actions (recruitment, training, annual reviews, talent development, and qualification management depending on site practices). Assist with employee scheduling, attendance management, and workforce planning.
  • Supervise, motivate, and develop production employees. Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback. Support employee engagement and foster a positive work environment.
  • Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving actions.
  • Support and drive change management initiatives.
  • Update performance dashboards.
  • Report on activity and results within the scope and escalate deviations to management.
  • Manage SQDCT performance (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Team).
  • Lead and develop team members' skills in line with business evolution and organizational needs.
  • Facilitate daily performance routines (SR1 meetings).
  • Contribute to root cause analysis (quality and safety issues).
  • Independently lead improvement projects and ensure follow-up.
  • Monitor operational activity (attendance, productivity, breaks) and analyze deviations.
  • Implement and manage performance improvement action plans to increase efficiency, quality and cost-effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or production.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with production planning, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production systems.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate performance reports.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production management software.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • The compensation range is $110,000 to $130,000 in base salary.
  • The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Daher considers a number of factors when determining salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, skills, and current market conditions.
