About the Role

Voltage is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead all production operations within our rapidly growing manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for production output, quality, labor efficiency, and cost performance while driving operational discipline and continuous improvement. You will play a critical leadership role in scaling production, developing teams, and ensuring manufacturing readiness to support growth.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead daily production operations across manufacturing lines and shifts.
  • Drive achievement of production schedules, throughput, labor efficiency, and scrap reduction targets.
  • Monitor KPIs including safety, productivity, downtime, first‑pass yield, OEE, and on‑time delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety procedures.
  • Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and production team members.
  • Partner with Quality to improve yield, reduce defects, and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain and Warehouse teams to ensure uninterrupted material flow.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and workforce planning activities.
  • Collaborate with Engineering on new product introductions (NPI), process improvements, and line setup.
  • Ensure accurate production reporting and ERP/SAP transaction compliance.
  • Support capacity planning, labor modeling, and manufacturing scale‑up efforts.
  • Maintain production documentation, work instructions, and labor standards.
  • Drive accountability, performance management, and operational excellence across the team.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of manufacturing or production leadership experience.
  • 3+ years managing supervisors and/or large hourly teams.
  • Experience in high‑volume manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of production scheduling, labor planning, and manufacturing KPIs.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Experience in wire harness, electrical, automotive, or similar manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead in fast‑paced, high‑growth manufacturing settings.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience with plant startups, ramp‑ups, or multi‑shift operations preferred.
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish or Mandarin) skills preferred.
