Job description

Furnace Assistants will have the opportunity to** start out making $23.08 and grow to $26.68** after 90 days with good attendance and performance.

Work only 15 days out of the month with 7 days off to have a good work life balance.

SIGN ON BONUS**- $300 AFTER 90 DAYS(Rehires Not eligible) **RETENTION BONUS- $600 AFTER 9 MONTHS(Rehires Not Eligible)

Hours: Rotating shift 7AM – 7PM and 7PM - 7AM. You will work BOTH Dayshift and Nightshift as part of your rotation.Shift Rotation:4 on, 3 off, 3 on, 1 off, 3 on, 3 off, 4 on, 7 off and the rotation starts over.

As our new Furnace Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in all furnace operations as required in a timely but safe manner to ensure smooth running operations and a productive shift.

This position requires a person willing to working in extreme temperatures, in an industrial manufacturing environment, and wearing protective equipment.

If you have manufacturing experience and are a safety-minded individual, then you could be a good candidate for this role.

urnace Assistant

- High School Diploma or equivalent.

- Highly motivated, goal oriented, ethical, and challenge driven.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Flexibility to work overtime and rotating shifts in a 24/7/365 operation.

Physical Demands include:

- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.

- Position requires the use of senses, including visual examination, observing surrounding traffic, and determining employee location.

- Position requires the ability to judge distance and distinguish colors.

- Position requires the use of touch and smell to identify problems with equipment, and the ability to speak and understand speech.

- Must be adequately able to hear safety alarms.

- Position may require working in tight and confined working conditions.

- Position will require working in extreme heat while working directly on or near furnaces.

- Position requires the ability to climb, ascend/descend ladders, balance, and work at heights for extended periods of time. Also requires body movement such as walking, standing, reaching, crouching, sitting, kneeling, crawlings, twisting, and turning of torso.
