The Production Reporting Coordinator is responsible for the execution, coordination, and continuous improvement of Crescent's production regulatory reporting program. This position ensures production volumes are accurately reported to Federal and State regulatory agencies while supporting Production Accounting, Operations, Revenue, Measurement, and Regulatory teams.

The role serves as the business owner of production reporting processes within PetroRegs, maintaining the mapping of wells, facilities, properties, and reporting entities while ensuring production accounting changes are reflected in regulatory reporting.

As Crescent continues to grow through acquisitions, this role will lead production reporting setup for new assets, standardize reporting practices across operating areas, and identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency through automation and process improvements.

Success in this position requires strong production accounting knowledge, regulatory expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines.

Regulatory Reporting Governance

  • Prepare, review, and submit Texas Railroad Commission production reports including PR, W-10, G-10, H-10, R-3, P-18, TexNet and other required filings.

  • Prepare and submit Utah Forms 10 and 11.

  • Prepare and submit ONRR OGOR reports and EIA-914 reports.

  • Coordinate all monthly, annual, and event-driven production reporting obligations.

  • Maintain reporting calendars and ensure all statutory deadlines are met.

  • Develop standardized reporting procedures across all operated assets.

  • Monitor regulatory changes and update reporting processes accordingly.

Production Reporting Systems & Process Management

  • Utilize PetroRegs to prepare, validate, and submit production regulatory reports.

  • Maintain mapping of wells, facilities, properties, and reporting entities within PetroRegs.

  • Partner with Production Accounting and IT to ensure master data changes flow appropriately into PetroRegs.

  • Validate reporting configurations following acquisitions, divestitures, and reorganizations.

  • Participate in testing of PetroRegs enhancements and regulatory updates.

  • Recommend improvements to reporting workflows and system utilization.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

  • Respond to agency correspondence and reporting inquiries.

  • Proactively monitor regulatory agency websites and reporting portals to identify, investigate, and resolve production reporting issues before they impact compliance.

  • Support internal and external audits.

  • Maintain documentation supporting regulatory filings.

  • Track compliance metrics and recommend corrective actions.

  • Partner with Operations and Regulatory to reduce compliance risk.

Production Data Stewardship

  • Validate production volumes before submission.

  • Ensure reported production agrees to Production Accounting records.

  • Resolve data discrepancies with Production Accountants.

  • Maintain high-quality reporting master data.

  • Perform trend analysis and identify recurring issues and root cause.

  • Support enterprise data governance initiatives.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with Operations, Measurement, Revenue, Engineering, Land, Regulatory, and IT.

  • Support acquisition integration activities.

  • Identify automation opportunities.

  • Document business processes.

  • Promote standardized reporting across Crescent.

Education & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of upstream production accounting or production regulatory reporting.

  • Experience using PetroRegs or comparable regulatory reporting software.

  • Knowledge of Texas RRC, Utah, ONRR OGOR, and EIA production reporting requirements.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with ProCount and Carte.

  • Experience supporting acquisitions.

  • SQL or reporting automation experience.
