Videographer – Social Media Content & Real Estate/Architecture Content

Company Overview: We are a growing video production and marketing agency located in Grass Valley, CA, dedicated to elevating brands through impactful storytelling and premium visual content. We specialize in creating compelling video and photography for Architecture professionals, service-based businesses, and other related businesses on social media. Our comprehensive services include content marketing, social media reels, promotional videos, YouTube videos, advertisements, and event coverage.

Role Summary: We are seeking a talented, creative, and technically proficient Videographer with proven expertise in ARCHITECTURE/REAL ESTATE videography & Photography and creative content production FOR SOCIAL MEDIA. This role will initially operate on a per-project basis, transitioning into a full-time role based on performance and fit. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional gimbal work, cinematography skills, creative storytelling, scriptwriting WITH SOCIAL MEDIA FOCUS, and the ability to professionally direct clients on camera.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute pre-production planning including scripting, shot lists, and creative concept development.
  • Capture visually stunning, stable, and professional real estate walkthrough videos using advanced gimbal techniques. Includes 3D tours and Photography.
  • Set up and manage professional lighting and audio equipment.
  • Direct and coach clients effectively for on-camera presentations and interviews.
  • Shoot intentionally for streamlined editing and storytelling purposes.
  • Manage footage and files systematically for efficient post-production.
  • Solve technical and logistical challenges proactively during shoots.
  • Represent our company professionally with clients, ensuring positive, productive interactions.
  • Travel occasionally to locations including Texas, Southern California, and the Bay Area for various projects.

Key Competencies:

  • Expert-level camera and gimbal operation (specialization in gimbal use on a high level is mandatory - especially for Real Estate and Archtecture).
  • Advanced knowledge of lighting and audio setups for diverse environments.
  • Strong creative direction and visual storytelling skills.
  • Professional client communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective time management, reliability, and punctuality.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and adaptable to varied project demands.
  • Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking.
  • Comfortable traveling for remote shoots as necessary (all travel paid for)

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in videography, particularly real estate or commercial videography.
  • Proficiency with professional video gear (Sony: Mirrorless/Cinema cameras), gimbals, lighting, and audio equipment.
  • Demonstrable portfolio of real estate videos and creative projects.
  • Ability to script, plan, and direct video shoots independently.
  • Part 107 Drone License

Compensation:

  • Initially per-project basis, competitive rate per shoot (commensurate with experience and project complexity).
  • Upon transition to full-time employment, monthly salary will range from $4,500–$6,000 depending on skills, performance, and experience. Can grow as well from that point as we grow.

Location:

  • Primarily Grass Valley, CA, Sacramento Area and with occasional travel to Southern California / Texas.
