Questa Verification IQ (QVIQ) is Siemens' next-generation web-based collaborative verification management product. It integrates with simulation, formal verification, compute-grid, and CI/CD systems to help teams manage increasingly complex verification projects. Performance, scalability, usability, and seamless workflow integration are critical to the product's success.

Role Overview

The Digital Verification Technologies (DVT) division is seeking a senior R&D Product Lead for Questa Verification IQ (QVIQ).

This leadership role is responsible for driving product success from an R&D perspective. The Product Lead partners closely with Product Management (PM), Product Engineering (PE), architects, and development teams to define product priorities, drive customer adoption, and ensure successful integration of QVIQ within the broader Siemens EDA verification portfolio. The ideal candidate combines strong technical understanding, product leadership, customer engagement, and business acumen. They should be capable of engaging in discussions around enterprise software architectures, integrations, APIs, data management, cloud technologies, and verification workflows while maintaining primary ownership of product direction, customer value, and market success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive QVIQ product strategy and roadmap execution in partnership with Product Management and Product Engineering.

  • Collaborate with customers, field teams, and strategic accounts to understand requirements, adoption challenges, and future needs.

  • Define and drive QVIQ's integration strategy across Siemens EDA products, verification flows, CI/CD environments, and third-party ecosystems.

  • Translate customer and business requirements into clear product priorities and engineering investments.

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives involving R&D, Product Management, Product Engineering, UX, and customer-facing teams.

  • Champion customer success by ensuring product capabilities address real-world verification challenges and deliver measurable value.

  • Partner with architects and engineering teams to align customer requirements, technical feasibility, scalability goals, and delivery commitments.

  • Provide product and technical leadership for capabilities built on modern enterprise technologies, including Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Angular/React, SQL/NoSQL databases, distributed systems, and cloud-native platforms.

  • Support customer engagements, executive reviews, product demonstrations, and strategic evaluations.

  • Drive alignment between product vision, release planning, and engineering execution across globally distributed teams.

  • Identify market trends, competitive opportunities, and emerging technologies, including AI-driven workflows and analytics, that can influence future product direction.

Required Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise software development, product leadership, technical product ownership, or related roles.

  • Proven track record of leading complex software products and delivering customer-focused outcomes.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise software architectures, web applications, APIs, distributed systems, and software development lifecycles.

  • Practical knowledge of technologies commonly used in modern enterprise platforms, including Java, Spring Framework, RESTful services, Angular and/or React, SQL/NoSQL databases, and Linux-based environments.

  • Experience with software integrations, platform ecosystems, and data-intensive applications.

  • Ability to engage effectively with architects and engineering teams on technical trade-offs, deployment models, scalability considerations, and integration strategies.

  • Experience working closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and executive stakeholders.

  • Strong customer-facing, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and balance customer needs, business priorities, and technical considerations.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of digital design and verification methodologies.

  • Experience with simulation, formal verification, coverage analysis, regression management, or verification management solutions.

  • Understanding of semiconductor development workflows and verification organizations.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, CI/CD systems, and distributed computing environments.

  • Exposure to AI-assisted engineering workflows, analytics platforms, or data-driven products.

  • Familiarity with Siemens EDA solutions and verification technologies.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
