Job description

This role is responsible for leading the development of core product enhancements and tactical solutions to meet the extensive needs of clients and prospects for the Global Custody and Clearing business. The Product Development Team maintains and expands subject matter expertise, providing thought leadership in the Global Custody product space. The team is organized along four key product towers and is distributed globally (Asset Servicing, Positions & Settlements, Cash, Direct Custody).

Job responsibilities:

  • Partner with Product counterparts in Securities Services and senior members of Product Development to design Custody Positions & Settlements product offerings and identify innovative solutions for product improvements and new launches
  • Guide product enhancements through requirement development, product testing, release management, and post-implementation review
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute to the product roadmap for the multi-year program
  • Coordinate testing leads, manage feedback, and implement additional enhancements based on priorities
  • Manage effective working group meetings across Product, Operations, and Technology to deliver key elements of the strategic platform and ensure all internal stakeholders are kept appraised of progress
  • Assist in preparing business cases, project documentation, and management reporting for senior stakeholders
  • Partner with Sales & Marketing/Client Service to develop, brand, and communicate new products to external clients

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Extensive experience in Custody Securities Services, security, investment management, and/or global custody environments
  • Proven track record of managing and leading global teams, with strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic roadmaps, make high-impact decisions, and deliver business results
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior leaders and clients across regions
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple streams of work concurrently
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging across teams and management levels
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with large volumes of data and convert into actionable insights

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Self-starter, able to proactively identify and resolve issues, and gather subject matter expertise
  • Personally accountable for achieving key milestones and driving initiatives forward in a cross-functional, matrixed organizational model
  • Experience facilitating design workshops, brainstorming sessions, and leading forums for innovation
  • Comfortable working in a self-directed mode on multiple assignments, with a focus on execution and delivery
