Our laboratory operates under CLIA certification and CAP accreditation, ensuring that all specimen handling and testing procedures meet rigorous regulatory and quality assurance standards.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Rythm Health is seeking a Laboratory Associate (2nd Shift) to support day-to-day laboratory operations. The required work schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a regulated clinical laboratory environment. This role involves data entry, sample accessioning, and processing in accordance with established procedures.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Accurately receive, accession, and track incoming specimens using laboratory information systems (LIS).
  • Verify specimen integrity, labeling accuracy, and documentation compliance.
  • Aliquot and prepare blood samples according to established protocols.
  • Enter, review, and maintain accurate electronic laboratory records.
  • Adhere to CLIA/CAP-compliant SOPs, laboratory safety requirements, and quality assurance procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory workspace.
  • Communicate specimen status and promptly escalate issues to the Lab Supervisor.
  • Support additional laboratory tasks as needed to meet operational demands.
  • *Work Schedule: 2nd shift required. Typical hours: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM, with flexibility based on operational needs.

  • Bachelor's degree or above in biology, chemistry, medical laboratory science, or a related field.
  • Comfortable working with computer software, LIS, and clinical lab equipment.
