About the Role:

Arclin has anexciting opportunity to join a growingKevlar® Teamthatprotectsthe people and things that matter most.As theGlobal Steward,ProductStewardship & Regulatory(PS&R)fortheKevlar®business, you willbe responsible for

· leading the team’s commitment toResponsible Care®Product Safety Code,

· providingproduct stewardshipexpertiseforthe teamand

· advising the business management team onregulatory compliance

Working as part of this dynamic team, you will helpensurethat the products being developedand producedare safe, compliant, risk-managed, and trusted.You will also playan important roleinternally and externallyhelping developand delivernewapproachesto assess thesafety andsustainabilityof products thatutilizerecycled raw materials.

The Kevlar® business offers a variety of products in different applications including but not limited to life protection, aerospace and automotive markets.

In this role, you will beviewed as a thought partner by the team and counterpartsacross Arclinas it relates toPS&R,and work with regional team members to ensure compliance. Thisis a compellingopportunityto be part of a team that thrives in developing newapplications andutilizingdeep technicalexpertiseto meetsome of the world’s most pressing challenges.

Responsibilities

· Serve as product stewardshipsubject matter expertandadvisemanagementtoimplement, execute, and deliver on new product developmentand commercialization.

· PS&Rconsultation fornew product application, marketdevelopmentopportunitiesand supply chain, includingvetting withoperations,supply chain,marketing,contract manufacturing, quality, EHS,and technologyfunctional experts.

· Lead product risk characterization andreview efforts. This includesunderstandingproductregulations, producttrail, producthazards,exposuresandultimatelyassessingthe risktodevelopresponsible product safety guidance, working with toxicology and risk assessment experts.

· Obtain relevant productdocumentation and be the owner ofKevlar®Product Stewardship Management System tomaintaincertification under Responsible® Care following the Product Safety Codes of Practice.

· Develop andreview product literature,messaging,providing product safety, product stewardship,and sustainability guidanceforexternal and internal documents.

· Support product stewardship and regulatory compliance needs ofKevlar®productsincludingbymanagingproduct compositions,raw material supplier information, Safety Data Sheetsand Article Information Sheets,andproduct labels.

· Monitortrendsand proactivelyplan actions to meet future regulations, especially in key geographies and customer segments.

· Collaborate with product management,andmarketing, and sales account leadersto respond tocustomer inquiries on product safety, compliance,transparency,and sustainability.

· Outreach,education,and trainingof stakeholders within the Kevlar® business

Travel: Upto25%.

Qualifications

· BS or MS degree inChemistry, Toxicology, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering,Sustainability, or related scientific field.

· 5-10 years ofworkexperienceinPS&Rfield.

· Previouswork experience providingPS&Rcompliance supportandproduct certifications,with the ability to analyze environmental impacts.

· Risk management understanding: ability toutilizeestablished PS&R guidelines;adapt them to new situations (takingtheoreticaltopracticaluse);or

create newPS&R frameworks,standardizedprocesses,and toolsforimplementation.

· Ability toaggregate and synthesizelarge amountsof data fromglobalcross-functional team.

· Ability to learn and become well-versed in multiple markets& technologiesin parallel.

· Customer-oriented, with strong attention to detail.

· Demonstrated project management experience.

· Stronginterpersonal,networking skills,andwritten and oralcommunicationsskills.

· Demonstrated ability todeliver on commitments, yetagility to reprioritize.

· Fluency in the English language.

Preferred Qualifications

· A strong external network inproduct stewardship and chemistry.

· Product development and commercialization experience.

· Some manufacturing knowledge and exposure, such as working with quality, EHS, and manufacturingtechnologists in integrated operations.

· Experience withproduct lifecycleassessments, environmental product declarations, and otherenvironmental impact andsustainability validation methodologiesand certifications.

Location

· North America, preferably on the east coast.
