Holland & Sherry is an industry leader and source of high-quality textiles for the interior design trade, committed to providing innovative and custom solutions for our clients. Our team is passionate about design and dedicated to delivering exceptional client experiences.
We are currently seeking an extremely organized, customer service-oriented Sample Librarian for our Atlanta, GA facility. This person will be responsible for the day-to-day warehouse operations of the product sampling program. This position requires a combination of administrative and hands on tasks to keep the sample library organized and running smoothly. Here are some specifics about the role:
Job Responsibilities:
• Organizing and maintaining a well-stocked sample room across all product categories.
• Day-to-day showroom pulls for in person sample requests as well as sample requests call or emailed in from territory clientele.
• Weekly sample inventory management as well as batching together replenishments from our sample distribution hub.
• Entering and tracking large sample material requests including key assets such as fabric waterfalls, wallcovering tri-folds, and curated box sets.
• Receiving sample requests from Outside Sales and in turn quickly and comprehensively filling and shipping.
• Restocking the showroom office supplies including sample request forms, pencils, shopping bags etc.
• Daily merchandising initiatives such as straightening displays, updating wallcovering boards, and replenishing leather and trim boards.
• Tag and hang new collections and check discontinued lists from product managers to pull unneeded displays.
• Keep back room tidy and organized for efficient pulls.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 to 2 years relevant work experience preferred
• Experience in a warehouse setting or the interior design industry is preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Must be able to comfortably lift 20 LB
• Ability to follow internal procedures and systems
• Ability to thrive in a multi-tasking environment with flexibility and resilience
