Position Summary 


The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience and supporting the dealership’s new and used vehicle sales goals. This role engages with customers on the showroom floor, identifies their needs, presents vehicle options, and guides them through the sales process. The Sales Associate represents the OEM brand with professionalism, product knowledge, and a strong customer first approach. 


Key Responsibilities 

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally, creating a welcoming showroom experience.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to recommend suitable vehicle options.
  • Present and demonstrate new and used vehicle features, technology, and benefits. 
  • Guide customers through the entire sales process, from initial inquiry to delivery. 
  • Maintain strong product knowledge, including OEM updates, trim levels, features, and competitor comparisons.
  • Utilize CRM tools to document customer interactions, follow-up activities, and sales progress.
  • Support dealership sales initiatives, showroom merchandising, and promotional events.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers, F&I, and Service departments to ensure a smooth, customer-centered transaction. 
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance sales skills and vehicle knowledge.
  • Assist with test drives, product walkarounds, and customer delivery coordination. 
  • All other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications 

  • Previous sales or customer service experience preferred; automotive experience an asset.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer relationship skills. 
  • Ability to learn and explain complex product features and technology.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, goal driven environment. 
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and digital retailing tools is an advantage. 
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required. 
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
