A little about the position:

Job Summary

As a Production Supervisor you must ensure the successful production activities of a single shift. Manage the daily production related to KPI's for singular shift. Support a strong employee culture through the reinforcement of Latham's Core Values.

Some of What You Will Do:

  • Read and understand production order and match to the product
  • Conducts the first QA inspection on pool
  • Able to trim and grind flange
  • Accurately reads tape measure.
  • Cuts and drills holes for fittings and installs fittings per the outfitting guide
  • Cuts optional fittings.
  • Performs patching process and small repairs
  • Learn to tile and set inlaysBe able to tile proficiently
  • Can do small cosmetic repairs independently
  • Can set inlays
  • Able to install all options on pools and spas
  • Can use 1 quart pot spray system for larger repairs
  • Can solve issues with repair, tile, inlay and optional parts

What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)

  • Minimum of HS Diploma with experience; Management or Technical college degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing/engineering related function.
  • Computer and keyboarding skills -Excel, Databases, and Word Processing.
  • Experience with payroll systems is a plus.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Must be able to work overtime when necessary, including extended hours or weekends.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Lean Manufacturing or 5S experience desired.
  • Good understanding of safety, quality, productivity, inventory, employee relations
  • Regularly required to talk or hear, frequently required to stand; walk; bend; use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms, prolonged sitting, repetitive computer use, ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly
