Job Title E-commerce Associate - Operations Associate

Department Retail

Reports To Manager, E-commerce

Positions Supervised None

Pay $12/hour

Summary

Process inventory in a fast-paced environment within the E-commerce Department to maintain a high level of organization and operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

  • Process inventory using mobile device to access bar coded item ensuring accuracy
  • Achieve individual production quota and quality goals consistently
  • Unload inventory to prepare for efficient listing
  • Pick orders accurately and efficiently
  • Place merchandise into inventory location accurately and efficiently
  • Purge unsold merchandise from inventory and prepare for return to stores
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and update supplies as needed
  • Adhere to safe work practices and report any unsafe conditions or actions
  • Crosstrain and participate in other aspects of the business, particularly on the inventory side
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Need

  • High school diploma/GED preferred - Equivalent education, training and experience will be considered
  • One year or less of related experience is helpful
  • Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with employees
  • Ability to operate a computer to scan and ship merchandise
  • Ability to physically sort and transport material from one work area to another
  • Clear verbal communication skills and ability to give and follow written and oral instructions
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions
  • Ability to use good judgment and think quickly and rationally in difficult or stressful situations

Work Environment

  • Exposed to moderate noise and dust levels
