The Model Busser/Food Runner, Altair is responsible for ensuring excellent guest service standards are met while staying in compliance with and enforcing all applicable SNHD requirements. The ideal candidate has experience in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and is passionate about providing polished, attentive service in a luxurious and upscale lounge setting. The Model Busser/Food Runner should have an extensive knowledge of health code, elevated customer service, and the importance of maintaining exceptional presentation standards. The Model Busser/Food Runner is responsible for supporting the bar and front-of-house team while helping create a seamless, refined, and memorable guest experience and upholding the highest of AREA15 and Altair’s standards at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly to maintain Altair’s elevated presentation standards
  • Deliver food and beverage orders accurately and promptly from kitchen/bar to guest tables
  • Support FOH team members with table maintenance, restocking, and guest needs throughout service
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining and lounge areas, including floors, surfaces, and service stations
  • Communicate proactively with kitchen, bar, and floor staff to ensure smooth service flow
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of the venue for service and events
  • Pose for pictures, in uniform or designated (logo) apparel, for promotional activities.
  • Participate and dress up in costumes for events, movie showings, and/or themed parties.
  • Participate and appear in marketing, publicity, or media materials.
  • Assist with general service as assigned. Inspect and maintain assigned area. Support and maintain bartenders with a stocked bar or service well.
  • Adhere to company specific safety policies at all times.
  • Communicate food orders or changes to chef and staff throughout shift.
  • Consistently delivers exceptional service to every visitor while interacting in a professional manner maintaining dialogue with all visitors while upholding a warm, positive, and friendly persona always.
  • Set up the venue for full operation, ensure all supplies, product, and tools are fully ready for operations.
  • Must communicate effectively with all levels of employees and visitors. Ability to stay organized, handle various projects at one time, follow up and make accurate decisions.
  • Use the equipment such as a bar cart or a hand pallet jack to lift and transport items, such as kegs, garbage, ice, and pallets that could weight up to 400 lbs. or more during the shift
  • Inspect and maintain assigned area, including taking count for inventory, restock necessary product and supplies.
  • Sort bottles and break down cardboard for recycling.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic workstation in accordance with SNHD standards.
  • Provide an accurate inventory count of product prior and at the end of every shift.
  • Requires the ability to follow instructions and work within a team environment.
  • Initiate and maintain an upbeat environment on a consistent basis.
  • Flexibility to perform other job-related tasks also must complete other duties as deemed necessary by management.
  • Must be self-motivated and willing to learn.
  • Be a brand advocate by providing visitors with accurate information regarding our venues, menus, and pricing.
  • Monitor potentially intoxicated and/or disruptive guests and promptly bring to a manager’s attention.
  • Respond to guest concerns/complaints and correct errors or resolve complaints with a positive attitude.
  • Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards.
  • Ability to maintain composure and stay focused. Ability to maintain a high level of integrity.
