Patcraft Marketing Manager - Workplace

Position Overview

Knowing that flooring plays an integral role in the built environment, we think big and with keen attention to the trends and innovation happening in design every day. As a leading soft and hard surface commercial brand, we hold ourselves to the highest standards delivering quality products that transform space and human experience.

With 130 sales representatives across North America, the Patcraft marketing department supports sales of our flooring via product promotional support, social media engagement, technical papers, and general sales support on events, promotions and presentations. The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Segment Director to support segment growth, through the creation of marketing related projects that align with Patcraft's strategic objects for end use segments. Marketing Manager will be responsible for creative input and tactical completion of segment specific projects that appropriately represent the brand, including but not limited to creation and production of marketing materials and sales tools, segment trade shows, and segment sales support.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Director to develop segment support content and tools aligned with Patcraft's strategic positioning.
  • With guidance from the Segment Director, the Marketing Manager will develop segment sales tools, technical support, and programs, including CEUs, sound and moisture tools, post-sales kits, website content, conversation builder content, case studies, project photography, contests, and promotions.
  • With guidance from the Segment Director, provide direction for segment support sales tools that elevate customer performance and position the Patcraft brand by understanding end-use customer and salesperson needs.
  • Working closely with the Segment Director, manage marketing support materials, processes, and strategy for regional and national segment-specific trade shows, while working closely with the marketing team and account managers to ensure appropriate execution in the market.
  • With Segment Director guidance, manage processes and protocol to ensure accurate dissemination of segment-specific information to internal and external audiences, including training on relevant topics, campaigns, tools, and updates.
  • Work closely with the Senior Communications Manager to create brand-relevant content that supports internal teams in positioning Patcraft with end users and segment customers.
  • Work closely with the Digital team to employ marketing strategies across web, email, social media, paid media, CRM, and marketing automation platforms. Additionally, monitor digital activation, report key findings, and pivot strategy if applicable.
  • Create compelling features and content for the segment pages on the website, including an annual calendar of content updates, working with segment directors and the Senior Communications Manager.
  • Participate in sales and marketing meetings, as needed.

Position Requirements:

3-5 years of marketing experience

4-year communication, marketing, or journalism degree or relevant experience

Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Must be adaptable to a dynamic work environment and able to implement alternate solutions.

Must be flexible, able to shift priorities, and work non-standard hours.

Must be self-motivated, work independently, and possess good organizational skills.

Cross-departmental communication and collaboration required

Monitor and disseminate internally and externally segmented materials

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with WorkFront or other project management software

Experience scheduling and executing group activities and events

Marketing and/or product development experience in the flooring industry desired but not required.

Understanding of digital marketing tools and analytics is desired, but not required
