Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sr. Technical Product Marketing Manager to join our Product Marketing team and help transform the GTM of an exciting, high-growth public company. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in developing and owning go-to-market strategy, passion for research, bias for collaboration, and strong capacity for empathy with internal and external customers alike.
What will you be doing?
As our Sr. Technical Product Marketing Manager, you will help evolve AvePoint's AI security innovations to continue growing ARR, delighting our customers and outpacing our competition.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Planning and executing product launch initiatives, working collaboratively and "out loud" with a diverse cross-functional team to drive ambitious goals.
  • Developing product positioning, packaging and pricing that differentiates AvePoint with compelling solutions and simplifies the complexity of our portfolio driven by a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends and competitors.
  • Engaging customers, partners, analysts and the market with messaging on AvePoint's roadmap and innovation to drive awareness across each audience.
  • Researching and analyzing the target market, key personas and competitive landscape to develop market segmentation, ICPs, battlecards, messaging maps and other enabling assets.
  • Elevating the voice of the customer including customer advisory councils, product previews, customer satisfaction surveys and continuous feedback from the field; leveraging this insight to influence product roadmap and develop strategies to mitigate gaps.
  • Enabling product, field, and corporate marketing colleagues with clear strategy documentation and core assets for global/corporate plays and lead solution offerings, including sales brochures, pitch decks, customer testimonials and input on marketing content.
  • Tracking performance of key solutions and adjusting both strategy and tactics to support (over)achievement of targets with quantitative metrics like ARR, Product Attachment, and GRR - and incorporating qualitative feedback from internal and external sources.
  • Mentoring others in the marketing department.

  • 5+ years product marketing experience in B2B technology, SaaS preferred

  • Track record of successfully launching products and leading GTM
  • Strong positioning and messaging skills; ability to craft clear and simple messages that work
  • Track record of effective engagement with sales organizations to drive results
  • Market research and analytical skills; ability to build strategy and tell stories with data
  • Collaborative team player; works aloud and enjoys engaging with marketing teams and other functions (like sales, product, services); able to lead and influence beyond reporting lines
  • Articulate and skilled storyteller across multiple mediums (eg: written, internal presenting, external thought leadership, social posting, etc)
  • Organized and capable of juggling multiple complex projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and keeping stakeholders informed with consistent communication
  • Willingness to continuously learn new techniques and skills and eager to mentor others

The Salary Range for this role is $150,000 - $190,000. At AvePoint, we strive to offer competitive, fair, and equitable total rewards. The listed salary range represents a good faith estimate, with final offers based on location, experience, skills, and qualifications. The listed range reflects base salary only; our total rewards include base salary, comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, unlimited PTO), and depending on the role, bonuses, commissions, or equity (RSUs).
