Who We Are
Creative Artists Agency (CAA) is the leading entertainment and sports agency, with global expertise in filmed and live entertainment, digital media, publishing, sponsorship sales and endorsements, media finance, consumer investing, fashion, trademark licensing, and philanthropy. Distinguished by its culture of collaboration and exceptional client service, CAA's diverse workforce identifies, innovates, and amplifies opportunities for the people and organizations that shape culture and inspire the world. The trailblazer of the agency business, CAA was the first to build a sports business, create an investment bank, launch a venture fund, found technology start-up companies, establish a philanthropic arm, build a business in China, and form a brand marketing services division, among other innovations. Named Most Valuable Sports Agency by Forbes for eight consecutive years, CAA represents more than 2,000 of the world's top athletes in football, baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer, in addition to coaches, on-air broadcasters, and sports personalities and works in the areas of broadcast rights, corporate marketing initiatives, social impact, and sports properties for sales and sponsorship opportunities. Founded in 1975, CAA is headquartered in Los Angeles, and has offices in New York, Nashville, Memphis, Chicago, Miami, London, Munich, Geneva, Stockholm, Shanghai, and Beijing, among other locations globally.
The Role
CAA is seeking a Product Manager to join our Product Management team and contribute to CAA's IT organization.
As CAA continues to expand its footprint in the sport and entertainment industry and grow globally, we have an increasing need to implement applications supporting our diverse customers - clients, agents, executives, assistants, and business partners. The Product Management team is focused on implementing technology products to drive productivity and effectiveness of our customers. We are obsessed with delivering intuitive products that embody CAA's culture.
We seek a curious, creative, and driven product manager. We are looking for individuals who are highly adaptable, who like solving problems, and can collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups. We're seeking a Product Manager who is eager to grow their expertise across the full product lifecycle - from contributing to product vision and roadmap planning to supporting ongoing product delivery and customer feedback loops.
Responsibilities
  • Quickly develop a deep understanding of products you will lead, including the business domains and workflows that these products support.
  • Manage products from vision to launch (and on-going support) delivering features iteratively to provide the expected business outcomes.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other product managers in the team to ensure alignment across products and product lines.
  • Participate actively in our cross-functional SAFe Agile Release Train (ART), taking on the roles of Feature Owner and agile team Product Owner.
  • In the Scaled Agile ART, collaborate closely with senior product managers and domain leads, contributing to planning intervals and supporting alignment across product teams.
  • Actively engage in relevant ART ceremonies (including PO Sync and PI Planning).
  • Support knowledge sharing and peer collaboration within the product team.
  • Contribute to broader business and IT initiatives that support the continued growth of CAA.
  • Create product roadmaps and work closely with business leaders and our engineering teams to deliver new products and feature enhancements. Orchestrate the work of our engineers throughout the development cycle to deliver the highest quality products.
  • Work with our UX/UI Design team to design simple and intuitive product experiences.
  • Work closely with our corporate stakeholders to ensure that their compliance, data privacy, financial and HR requirements are represented during product development.
  • Have deep understanding and empathy for customer needs, using user research and creative feedback mechanisms to validate product hypotheses and optimal product solutions. This will include working with our Service Delivery team to elicit their input on new product features.
  • Be data-driven and use data to decide the best opportunities that deliver the most business impact.

Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in product management managing products at all stages of the digital product life cycle (early-stage products, mature digital products, and late-stage products) and accountable for the voice of the product(s) you own and the customers you support.
  • 2+ years' experience working with products using Scaled Agile practices (e.g. SAFe) and operating in Scrum-based Agile teams.
  • Experience in the music industry is preferred.
  • Strong experience in Jira, Confluence, and Github.
  • Proficient with Chrome developer tools or similar in other browsers to test product features and troubleshoot bugs.
  • Curious and eager to learn, especially about new business domains and workflows, and you are eager to expand your areas of expertise.
  • Experience handling sensitive company information and protecting systems and data through security awareness.

Location
This position will be based in Nashville, with a minimum of 3 days a week in the office. Occasional travel, including company meetings and events is expected.
