The Value-Based Platform (VBP) Product team plays a key role in shaping and delivering solutions that advance aspects of value-based care within Risant Health Organizations (RHOs). The portfolio of solutions drives outcomes - total cost of care reduction, clinical quality improvement, better experiences, health equity and simplicity - to achieve business and financial objectives.
The Product Manager leads the development and improvement of healthcare solutions that address market needs, align with enterprise capabilities, and drive measurable gains in cost, quality, experience, and value-based care outcomes. They collaborate closely with RHOs, clinicians, and operational leaders to ensure successful adoption, alignment, and achievement of synergy goals.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Product Planning & Roadmapping: Define and maintain a strategic product vision aligned with business goals, supported by market research and competitive analysis. Develop and manage a dynamic product roadmap with prioritized features, milestones, and timelines. Organize and lead the product pod team to deliver roadmap commitments. Coordinate across the broader product portfolio to align features and workflows with other Product Managers.
  • Requirements & Development Oversight: Gather and document business, user, and compliance requirements, translating them into clear functional and technical specifications. Oversee agile product development to ensure timely, on-budget delivery that meets specifications. Support solution design, build, and launch activities.
  • Stakeholder & Team Collaboration: Foster strong relationships across clinical, technical, and leadership teams to ensure alignment and effective communication. Act as the central point for approvals, escalations, and cross-functional coordination. Ensure solutions meet the needs of RHOs and integrate effectively into their operations. Provide guidance and support to product owners and analysts.
  • Risk, Resource & Budget Management: Identify and mitigate development and adoption risks while managing resources to maintain focus on priorities. Track product budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives (OKRs) related to cost, quality, and experience. Lead retrospectives and integrate feedback to drive ongoing product and process improvements. Continuously monitor market trends to inform product strategy and positioning.

Required Qualifications: Technical and Interpersonal Competencies
  • Product Strategy & Lifecycle Management: Proven ability to define and execute product strategies, build and manage roadmaps, and apply prioritization frameworks to deliver impactful healthcare solutions. Experienced in overseeing the full product lifecycle-from concept and development to launch and continuous optimization-guided by market trends, user feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Value-Based Care Fundamentals: Strong understanding of value-based care principles, including care model design, clinical integration, cost and quality metrics, and strategies that drive improved patient outcomes and financial performance.
  • OKR and KPI Tracking and Analysis: Experience setting, monitoring, and analyzing Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product impact, inform decision-making, and guide continuous improvement efforts.
  • Stakeholder Requirement Translation: Skilled in translating complex stakeholder needs-including clinical, operational, and technical-into actionable product requirements and specifications that align with strategic goals and user expectations.

Preferred Qualifications: Technical Competencies
  • Agile & Project Management Expertise: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices, with hands-on proficiency in tools like Jira, Figma, Mural, Miro, and Confluence

Required Qualifications: Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration with a healthcare focus, Healthcare Data Analytics, Public Health, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in product management or related roles

Preferred Qualifications: Education and Experience
  • Supervisory/Management Experience: Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary teams for project or product delivery. Leading through influence, direct reports not required
  • Certification and/or Licensure: Certifications in product management or Agile methodologies (e.g., APM, PO/PM, SAFE).
  • Other: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing competing priorities. Experience collaborating with inter-disciplinary teams and managing stakeholder relationships. Passion for innovation and enhancing customer experiences, particularly in healthcare settings within multi-payer and multi-provider ecosystems.

Compensation and Benefits: The projected base salary for this position ranges from $153,000 -183,600 depending on experience and qualifications. This role is also eligible for incentive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including wellness programs, retirement savings, and relocation support as applicable.
