Job description

Principal Product Manager - Office Print Partner Solutions

Description -

HP's vision is to create technology that makes life better for everyone, everywhere – every person, every organization, and every community around the globe. With the heart, creativity, and energy of a startup, and the brain, muscle, and determination of a Fortune 100 corporation, we continue to deliver ground-breaking new technologies to build on our legacy of innovation.

As the Partner Solutions Principal Product and Business Development Manager for Office Print Solutions, you will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of partner-powered solutions that enhance print, scan, and workflow experiences for our customers. You will identify, develop, and scale strategic partnerships and solution integrations that expand HP's ecosystem, accelerate time-to-market, and drive measurable business outcomes.

Working cross-functionally with product management, engineering, sales, marketing, legal, finance, and partner teams, you will shape joint value propositions, influence product and platform roadmaps, and deliver end-to-end partner solutions from concept through launch and lifecycle management. You will serve as a key evangelist for our partner ecosystem—aligning internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver differentiated customer value and profitable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the partner solutions vision, strategy, and roadmap for Office Print Solutions, aligned to customer needs and business priorities.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize partnership opportunities (ISVs, SIs, cloud/platform partners, workflow providers, OEMs) that extend HP capabilities and create differentiated solutions.
  • Lead partner solution discovery and definition: customer problem framing, partner fit assessment, joint value proposition, requirements, and success metrics.
  • Own end-to-end execution for partner solutions, coordinating technical integration, enablement, launch readiness, and post-launch optimization across internal and partner teams.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for partner solutions (pipeline, attach/adoption, revenue, margin, retention, NPS, usage), and use insights to guide investments and improvements.
  • Develop and execute joint go-to-market (GTM) plans with partners, including positioning, packaging, pricing inputs, sales motions, and marketing programs.
  • Partner closely with sales and field teams to enable partner solutions: training, playbooks, partner-ready collateral, and feedback loops to improve win rates.
  • Drive partnership governance: QBRs, operating rhythms, escalation paths, and business reviews to ensure accountability and performance.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive ecosystems; translate insights into partner strategy, build/buy/partner recommendations, and roadmap influence.

Education and Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience spanning product management, partner management, alliances, business development, or solution commercialization in a B2B technology environment.
  • Experience with print, document workflow, managed services, or adjacent enterprise software ecosystems is strongly preferred.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Expertise in building and scaling strategic partnerships, including opportunity assessment, partner selection, and solution alignment.
  • Proven track record of delivering partner-integrated products/solutions that drive adoption and measurable business impact (revenue, attach, retention, customer satisfaction).
  • Strong understanding of solution commercialization: packaging, pricing inputs, contracts, enablement, and lifecycle management.
  • Ability to translate customer workflows into clear requirements and integration briefs for engineering teams and partners.
  • Experience managing cross-company technical integrations (APIs, security, identity, cloud services) and coordinating delivery across multiple teams.
  • Relentless passion for customer experience and advocacy for ease of deployment, reliability, and supportability in enterprise environments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills for technical, business, and executive audiences—internally and with partners.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and influencing skills in matrixed organizations; ability to align stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking, including market analysis, business case development, and prioritization.
  • Skilled in negotiation and stakeholder management, including navigating legal/commercial terms and driving alignment to close and scale partnerships.

The pay range for this role is $130,700 to $205,200 USD annually with additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience.
