Position Summary... What you'll do...
  • As the leader of Application Programming Interface (API) team for Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Videos, Onsite Display, Reporting, and Creatives, you will drive the end to end long term strategy and execution of the next generation of Retail Media APIs.
  • You will be responsible for development of APIs from requirement definitions, research, metrics analysis, technical specifications, development, testing, KPIs and other launch efforts.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and enhance APIs - you will align business and technical needs, analyze customer and product data, turn customer insights into actionable initiatives, determine rollout strategy, and manage risks. 
  • Lead a team of API Product managers
  • Build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders by driving priorities aligned to business goals, communicating, and prioritizing product roadmaps, and gaining buy-in from executive leadership. 
  • Conduct industry and competitive analysis to understand the emerging trends in advertising industry and developer tools to identify new opportunities.  
  • Use domain expertise, internal and external best practices to improve developer experience for our partners and advertisers. 
  • Conduct customer research to define partner segments and identify needs to inform API product roadmap. 
  • Partner with internal advertising sales team and Walmart retail teams to create unique, compelling APIs that benefit shoppers, partners 


What you'll bring:

  • 9 to 11+ years of hands-on experience in Product Management 
  • 6+ years of experience in API Product Management 
  • 4+ Years experience in Ads (Sponsored Product , Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Search, Display, Creatives)
  • 4+ years of experience managing product managers 
  • High attention to detail
  • Data-driven, analytical, strategic thinker 
  • Excellent written / spoken communication
