Position Summary
To provide ingredients to the tote and bag dumping stations, insuring a constant and proper supply to the converter lines.  Also to provide and set up totes of finished product to the packaging lines where this support is needed.

DUTIES
1.    Driving Lift Truck:
a)    To secure totes, skids and super sacks of ingredients from warehouse and positioning of these totes and skids at dumping stations and super sack stations.
b)    To return empty skids and totes to proper storage in warehouse or to tote wash area for cleaning.  Neatly stack super sacks for recyling.
c)    To remove trash from area and deposit it either in trash compactor,  trash truck or recycle bin.
d)    Transfer powder from super sacks to totes as needed. 
e)    Sample, inventory, sort and align bulk ingredient inventory.
f)    Performing safety and mechanical inspection of lift truck prior to start of each shift.
2.    Maintaining records of ingredients used.  Insure that these ingredients are correct and properly cleaned before used.  Take any routine samples of product or other special samples as needed.  
3.    Regulating and maintaining adequate rate of ingredient flow to the convertors.
4.    Dumping of all bagged, boxed or barrelled ingredients according to batch card instructions, including reprocess to the convertor lines.
5.    Coordinating with convertor operator to insure proper supply of ingredients at the respective stations that they will be located and minimize changeover time.
6.    Assisting with building cleaning in the work area and weekend clean up.
7.    Be proficient and knowledgeable in MES/SAP.  Use MES/SAP to
maintain accurate inventory and usage of ingredients by item and location.
8.    Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Materials: Insure adequate supply of the proper ingredients to the dumping and tote stations.  Check for quality release on products to be used.  Supply reprocess to the line.
Equipment: Proper operation of lift truck and dumping stations.  Wear head covering and hearing protection.
Safety:    Employee shall follow Waverly safety objectives & targets, follow the plant safety rules, report incidents & unsafe conditions immediately, maintain compliance with regulations, and refer to the Safety Management System on all safety related procedures and programs. 
Environmental: This position will adhere to the Nestle USA Waverly Environmental Policy, the Pollution Prevention Plan, and the Annual Environmental Objectives & Targets. The position will support the continual improvement of energy conservation, solid waste minimization and management, and prevention of pollution within the scope of the position and throughout the plant. 

Job requirements:
Consistent attendance and punctuality are critical to this role. The successful candidate must be able to report to work on time, maintain regular attendance, and work scheduled hours as required to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous lift truck experience
Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.
Willing and able to stand on a frequent basis.
Willing and able to work overtime.
Willing and able to work various shifts.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
