Position Summary

Together, our Research & Product Development team is driven by a shared passion for pets and people. As a Scientist, you'll be responsible for supporting the development of new products and processes from concept through commercialization by planning and executing trials, experiments, and technical projects. Come prepared to partner cross-functionally with teams to deliver business-driven innovations and ensure successful project implementation. On our team, you'll drive meaningful results through technical expertise, collaborative leadership, and a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous development.

  • Plan, organize and perform the necessary trials and experiments as required to deliver in a timely manner the development projects that meet the requirements of the regional business units and Global Strategic Business Units (GSBU)
  • Provide product and technical input and assistance within the Research & Development Network and externally (e.g., with Marketing, Manufacturing, vendors) as required on low complexity projects
  • Participate and contribute on project implementation teams by assisting with hand-off from development through start-up and providing operational training
  • Provide effective project leadership, complete all required documentation and project reporting in a timely manner, adhere to Company policy on protection of patent rights and intellectual property, and ensure all appropriate documents and project records are filed
  • Effectively communicate results of development through oral presentations and timely, written technical documentation and reports

The approximate pay range for this position is $73,000 to $103,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
