Job description

Senior Commercial Roofing Business Development & Project Manager
St. Louis, Missouri
Base Salary + Commission | Top Performers Earn $150,000-$300,000+ Annually
Build the Relationships. Win the Work. Lead the Project.
Farha Roofing is seeking an accomplished commercial roofing professional to help expand our presence in the St. Louis market. This is not a traditional sales-only position. We are looking for a senior-level relationship builder who can develop commercial roofing opportunities, earn the trust of decision-makers, and manage awarded projects from the initial conversation through final completion.
The ideal candidate brings an established network, or a demonstrated ability to build one, among commercial property owners, property managers, facility managers, general contractors, insurance professionals, real estate organizations, and other commercial decision-makers.
At Farha Roofing, you will have the resources and operational support of an established roofing company while retaining the flexibility, visibility, and influence that come with a family-owned business. Your relationships, experience, and success will matter.
The Opportunity
As our Senior Commercial Roofing Business Development & Project Manager, you will own both the client relationship and the successful delivery of the project.
You will identify opportunities, develop new business, guide customers through the roofing process, and coordinate with Farha Roofing's estimating and operations teams. Once a project is awarded, you will remain involved in managing communication, profitability, schedules, documentation, quality, and customer satisfaction through completion.
What Makes Farha Roofing Different?
  • Top-tier earning potential: Base salary plus high commissions, with top performers earning $150,000-$300,000+ annually.
  • Family-owned, people-first culture: You are not another number; you are a valued member of the team.
  • Strong operational support: Our production teams are committed to completing projects safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • National capabilities with local responsiveness: We have the resources to serve large and national clients while remaining flexible and responsive in the St. Louis market.
  • Transparent compensation structure: Our open-book model allows you to track your projects and earnings.
  • Meaningful professional influence: Your experience, market knowledge, and ideas will help shape our growth in St. Louis.

What You'll Do
  • Build, develop, and maintain relationships with commercial property owners, property managers, facility managers, general contractors, insurance professionals, REITs, and other decision-makers.
  • Generate new commercial roofing opportunities through networking, referrals, prospecting, and relationship development.
  • Evaluate customer needs and help develop appropriate commercial roofing solutions.
  • Lead the sales process from the initial opportunity through proposal, negotiation, and contract award.
  • Manage commercial roofing projects from the sale through final completion and closeout.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and other project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with estimators, operations personnel, crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Monitor project budgets, schedules, documentation, change orders, and overall profitability.
  • Help ensure projects meet Farha Roofing's standards for safety, workmanship, quality, and customer service.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients and identify opportunities for repeat business and long-term account growth.

What We're Looking For
  • At least five years of commercial low-slope roofing experience.
  • A successful record in commercial roofing sales, business development, project management, or a comparable client-facing leadership role.
  • An established professional network in the St. Louis commercial property or construction market is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of commercial roofing customers and markets, including property management, facility management, commercial real estate, insurance, general contracting, and REITs.
  • Ability to develop new business while also managing the operational and financial details of awarded projects.
  • Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, estimating considerations, project scopes, and field operations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, organization, and follow-through.
  • Ability to build trust with senior decision-makers and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to safely access commercial rooftops.

Benefits & Perks
  • Base salary plus uncapped commission opportunity
  • Health and dental insurance
  • Retirement savings plan
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays
  • Car allowance or company vehicle
  • Operational, estimating, and production support
  • Opportunity to build a significant book of business in the St. Louis market

If you are an experienced commercial roofing professional with strong industry relationships and want the opportunity to sell, lead, and share in the success of the projects you bring in, we would like to talk with you.
