About the role
  • IT TechPros is looking for a motivated Marketing & Business Development Intern to join our growing team in San Marcos, CA. This is a great opportunity for someone currently in school, balancing a busy schedule, or looking to get a head start on building a professional career in marketing and sales.
  • Unlike a traditional internship where you simply observe, this role provides hands-on experience working on real marketing initiatives, outbound sales efforts, and business development opportunities. You'll work alongside a fast-growing team in the IT and cybersecurity industry-an industry that continues to expand as businesses adopt new technologies, AI, and digital solutions.

What you'll do
  • Assist with marketing events, activations, campaigns, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Support marketing project management, including coordinating tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Manage the social media content calendar by scheduling approved content and ensuring posts are published on schedule.
  • Ensure content aligns with company brand guidelines, messaging, and overall marketing direction.
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns, including list building, scheduling, and reviewing campaign performance.
  • Support outbound business development efforts through email, LinkedIn, and phone outreach.
  • Help track and organize marketing and sales activities, results, and follow-up opportunities.

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or program in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
