Job Overview

We are seeking an Associate R&D Engineer to support the research, design, testing, and development of medical devices. The role will focus on pre-operative planning, product development, testing, process improvement, and collaboration with engineering and clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support research, design, testing, and development of medical devices.

• Perform pre-operative planning for knee, hip, and shoulder replacement procedures.

• Work directly with sales representatives and orthopedic surgeons.

• Collaborate with Pre-operative Planning and Robotics teams.

• Identify and recommend improvements to design, manufacturing, and evaluation processes.

• Participate in project and departmental meetings.

• Support new product development, product enhancements, and product line extensions.

• Help develop product requirements and technical specifications.

• Analyze new products, applications, and process improvements.

• Work with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 0–2 years of relevant experience.

• Experience with 3D CAD and programming software.

• Knowledge of UG NX or SolidWorks is preferred.

• Basic programming experience with Python is preferred.

• Strong computer and 3D modeling skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Knowledge of knee, hip, or shoulder replacement is preferred.

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
