Fairport, NY is the headquarters for the Radionix sales & marketing organization in the United States and serves as the primary site for research and development, engineering, quality, and product management for intrusion detection systems, including state-of-the-art sensors, control panels, software, communications and more.
Job Description
Analog and digital hardware design for motion detection and intrusion sensing products used in residential and commercial security systems. Individual will actively participate in a structured product development process which encompasses technical requirements development; hardware and algorithm design, implementation and verification; production test strategy development, and launch to mass production. This position offers the opportunity to work in a team environment with individuals and groups located worldwide.
Principal Responsibilities
  • Analog and digital hardware design
  • Design verification testing for requirements fulfillment
  • Failure mode and parametric analysis of electrical designs for robustness verification

Qualifications
Education
BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology is required
Job Requirements
Required:
  • Capable of mathematical analysis and simulation of analog circuitry
  • Proficiency with oscilloscopes, chart recorders and signal generators
  • Basic analog and digital circuit troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of low current analog amplifier and filter design
  • Knowledge of digital circuit design & timing analysis

Preferred:
  • Knowledge of digital signal processing and digital filter design
  • Knowledge of embedded assembly level firmware
  • Knowledge of RF communication fundamentals
  • Mechanical aptitude

To be successful in this position individual must have a high level of self motivation, a drive for self development and possess good reading comprehension, communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Information
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $78,000-88,000 per year. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
In addition to base salary, full-time employees are eligible to participate in Keenfinity Group's (US) Health and Welfare Benefit Plans-including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance-as well as the company's 401(k) plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the respective plan documents. Full-time employees are eligible to participate in Keenfinity Group's paid time off and sick leave programs in accordance with applicable policies.
