Job description

Job Overview

The Product Marketing Coordinator provides internal administrative and analytical support to the Product Management team across assigned Hubbell Canada product lines. This role is primarily non-customer-facing and focuses on enabling Product Managers by handling pricing analysis, product lifecycle administration, data maintenance, reporting, and coordination with internal stakeholders. The Coordinator partners closely with the Digital Marketing team to gather product information, support promotional campaigns, and assemble product collateral, and may work directly with members of the Sales team to fulfill internal information requests. This position is an ideal development role for someone building toward a future Product Manager career path. The Product Coordinator is responsible for supporting the execution of product management activities for assigned product lines to help achieve sales and profitability objectives. This role focuses on coordinating day-to-day product operations, maintaining product data, supporting SAP administration and assisting with the implementation of product strategies and initiatives. This role provides product support to Sales by assisting with quotations and product positioning, and helping identify opportunities to improve product performance within the brand portfolio. The Product Coordinator may also support internal preparation for trade shows, industry events, and regulatory or standards-related activities as required.

A Day In The Life
Product Management Administration

Provide administrative support to the Product Management team by maintaining product data in SAP and PIM systems, coordinating inventory planning activities, managing product lifecycle processes, and ensuring product documentation is accurate, current, and accessible.

Product Development and Launch

Support new product launches in Canada by coordinating certification, packaging, system setup, inventory readiness, and marketing requirements. Assist with new product development through market research, customer feedback, and collaboration with U.S. product and marketing teams.

Pricing Analysis and Administration

Analyze pricing, margins, discounts, and profitability trends to support business decisions. Maintain Canadian price lists, manage pricing adjustments, support Special Pricing Agreements (SPAs), and develop Power BI and Excel reports to monitor pricing performance.

Training and Business Development

Maintain product knowledge and support the development of training materials and presentations for internal teams and customers. Contribute to product management and sales initiatives through ongoing learning and market awareness.

Quality and Compliance

Track product-related complaints and quality issues, support resolution activities with the Quality team, maintain compliance-related product information, and escalate potential quality, regulatory, or product risks as required.

Required Qualifications:

 

Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university in Engineering (preferred) or Business or Marketing or equivalent time working in the electrical industry in a similar position

Electrical Engineering is preferred

3+ years of work experience in similar roles within the Electrical Industry

The expected salary for this position is $77,000 - $114,400.00 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Please note this range reflects base salary only. Total compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package, pension plan, and may include other incentives. This posting is for a new position.
