Job description

Your tasks

  • Champion all design related activity for assigned program(s) throughout product life cycle, from concept generation, development, therefor into optimal solutions.
  • Active participation in Development Team Meetings (EAK) represents design conformance according to Brose procedures / standards.
  • Participate in formal design/engineering reviews (Design Checklist, DFMEA, specification review, etc.), and informal reviews with development team.
  • Ensure designs meet milestones to support releases
  • Responsible for monitoring of the design's product conformance, data quality standards, Brose and customer design standards.
  • Provide support to ensure the conformance of the product to customer/Brose specifications.
  • Monitor actual project capacity needs during product development
  • Assist and mentor designers in best practices, kinematics, customer CAD systems, etc.
  • Considers program development according to product development process (PDP).

Your Profile

  • Bachelor degree or ten years related professional experience in the automotive field and with experience with (window regulators, seats, or drives) preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  
  • 6-8 years of experience
