  • Source and validate missing product information from suppliers, manufacturers, and third-party data providers.
  • Support new product onboarding by reviewing, validating, and enriching product data before deployment to downstream systems.
  • Ensure product information  remains accurate, consistent, and aligned across all platforms.

Data Quality & Governance

  • Apply data quality standards and perform routine audits to identify gaps, inconsistencies, duplicates, and compliance issues.
  • Monitor and improve data completeness, accuracy, and consistency through established governance practices.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track data quality KPIs, enrichment progress, and operational performance.
  • Help establish best practices, ownership models, and documentation for product data management.

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Utilize SQL, Excel, Power Query, ETL tools, and AI-assisted technologies to automate data preparation, validation, and maintenance processes.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve scalability through workflow automation.
  • Support ERP, PIM, and master data management initiatives that improve efficiency and data reliability.
  • Assist with supplier integrations, catalog syndication, and product content distribution projects.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Pricing, Supply Chain, Sales, Operations, Marketing, and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable data solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for product data expertise across the organization.
  • Train users on data standards, self-service reporting tools, and best practices.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-4 years of experience in product data management, master data management, catalog operations, analytics, or a related role.
  • Strong SQL skills and advanced Excel proficiency, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, lookups, and data validation techniques.
  • Experience working with ERP, PIM, or other enterprise data management systems.
  • Understanding of ETL processes, data transformation, and workflow automation concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for automation and data manipulation.
  • Experience working with APIs, ETL pipelines, FTP/SFTP integrations, or other data exchange technologies.
  • Familiarity with Epicor Eclipse, Salsify, or similar ERP/PIM platforms.
  • Experience in industrial distribution, manufacturing, construction supply, or wholesale environments.
  • Exposure to AI-powered data enrichment tools, machine learning, or large language models (LLMs).
  • Understanding of product taxonomy management, classification systems, and data governance frameworks.
