Job Summary:
Hamilton Beach Brands is a leading designer and distributor of innovative household and commercial appliances. The Assistant Product Manager will support the development and execution of product strategy in small kitchen appliances, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and innovation.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned product categories, ensuring performance targets are met.
• Monitor competitive activity - including pricing, positioning, assortment, and merchandising - to identify opportunities and threats.
• Support or lead development of new products by identifying unmet consumer needs and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Help define each product's unique value proposition and ensure it is consistently reflected across marketing, packaging, and digital content.
• Partner with the sales team to deliver product training, attend key account meetings, and develop tailored product and pricing strategies.
• Track and report on product performance, sales trends, and margin targets; provide updates to senior management.
• Contribute to category strategy development and participate in special projects that drive innovation and growth.
Qualifications:
Required:
