Job description

HOW YOU FIT

You will operate the equipment and perform all necessary production tasks which bring our vehicle wraps to life. You will use your eye for quality and details to ensure production work is to spec and meets high department standards. You will propagate Carvertise culture through your hustle, proficiency and outcomes.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Primary Role Responsibilities Include:

  • Performs machine setup and operation to generate vehicle wraps to specification for installation and/or shipment

  • Communicates effectively with leadership to ensure quality control measures are in place and issues/concerns receive escalation and appropriate urgency

  • Works efficiently and effectively to ensure production milestones are met; communicates status, particularly any hiccups or shortfalls needing to be addressed

  • Utilizes variety of materials appropriately and precisely while applying proper installation techniques to each medium Operates print and peripheral equipment and tools to properly and precisely cut, weed, mask, and install vinyl lettering.

  • Performs full laminator operation to include loading, unloading, and basic maintenance

  • Performs full cutter/plotter operation to include loading, unloading, and basic maintenance

  • Performs vinyl weeding with care and precision avoiding error

  • Handles wrap kitting and boxing according to specifications and protocols in place

  • Prepares packages for shipping to ensure timely arrival, to include accurate labeling, carrier contact as needed and proper pickup coordination

  • Packs finished product efficiently; prepares packages for shipping to ensure timely arrival; labels accurately

  • Provides on-the-job training to support skills development and competency of team members

  • Supports all job and department process improvement initiatives to include finding and recommending ways to perform work more efficiently and effectively, drafting/updating procedures, etc.

  • Performs special duties or projects as assigned by department or company leadership

ADDITIONAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • May be asked to install and/or deinstall vehicle graphics and/or wraps onto/from vehicle surfaces including, but not limited to, full and partial wraps, window perforation, and interior and exterior wall surfaces or substrates

  • May be tasked with ensuring all wrap installations or removals are performed methodically and to specification without error or resultant vehicle damage

  • Embodies Carvertise culture through hustle, proficiency, results, interactions and communication; appreciates and recognizes excellence.

  • Safely uses/operates industrial production equipment and peripheral/industry standard tools and equipment, including but not limited to knives, magnets, and squeegees

  • Performs work to promote both individual and team personal safety, to include employing proper body mechanics for lifting, co-lifting, bending, stretching, etc.

  • Maintains a clean, neat, orderly and safe working environment

  • Complies with all Carvertise policies and procedures and any federal/state regulations which may apply

  • Strengthens the company and department through process improvement and self-betterment.

  • Performs other projects and duties as requested and/or needed

  • Supports a variety of company processes to include onboarding and hiring, job shadowing and interviewing as needed


QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior print production experience may be helpful. Experience with vinyl application/production or a similar discipline may be preferred. Minimum 2 years prior graphic shop experience, preferably in vehicle decal installation environment preferred. .
