Fox TV StationsFOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content.JOB DESCRIPTION

KCPQ/KZJO FOX 13 Seattle is seeking a Streaming Producer with strong technical instincts and a deep understanding of digital-first news production. This role is centered on live streaming, social video, and platform-native storytelling. You will be responsible for producing, managing, and optimizing live and on-demand content across FOX LOCAL and major social platforms, ensuring coverage is fast, accurate, visually compelling, and technically sound.
Reporting to the Streaming Executive Producer, the ideal candidate is fluent in the mechanics of streaming production and social/digital distribution, CTV, and understands how audiences consume news outside of linear TV with a balance of speed, quality, and journalistic integrity. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a live environment and wants to build the future of local news.

Responsibilities

  • Produce and manage live streaming coverage of breaking news, live events, press conferences, and original programming for FOX LOCAL and social platforms.
  • Operate and oversee streaming production tools, including live switching, encoding, clipping, publishing, and real-time troubleshooting.
  • Create platform-native digital and social video content, including live clips, short-form video, graphics, and text-based storytelling optimized for mobile & CTV consumption.
  • Distribute and optimize content across the FOX Local app, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and emerging platforms with an emphasis on audience growth and engagement.
  • Collaborate with newsroom, digital, social, and production/engineering teams to align coverage, workflows, and priorities across platforms.
  • Monitor real-time analytics, audience behavior, and trending topics to inform editorial and production decisions before, during, and after live streams.
  • Ensure all content meets journalistic standards, legal requirements, and FOX group guidelines for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Participate in ongoing testing and refinement of streaming formats, tools, and workflows.
  • Assist in the planning, production and publication of regular podcasts on both VOD and audio platforms.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Journalism, Communications, Media Production, TV/Film production, or a related field with a digital focus.
  • 3 or more years of experience producing digital video, live streams, or social-first news content; newsroom experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong technical proficiency with live streaming workflows, including video switching, live publishing, clipping, and distribution.
  • Hands-on experience with video editing tools and production software, Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated understanding of social media platforms, video formats, and audience behavior across digital ecosystems.
  • Experience using analytics tools to measure performance and adjust content strategy in real time.
  • Excellent editorial judgment, writing skills, and attention to detail in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and non-traditional hours as news demands.
