Job description

At Rosauers Supermarkets, we believe that fresh and vibrant produce is the heart of healthy living. As a Produce Clerk, you'll be at the forefront of bringing nature's bounty to our customers' tables. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing, packaging, and displaying fresh fruit products, ensuring they are of the highest quality and freshness for our customers. Your dedication to organization and customer service will ensure that our customers have access to the finest fruits, vegetables, and herbs, while enjoying a positive and enjoyable shopping experience.
What You'll Do
  • Welcome and greet customers with a smile and help them to locate various produce items.
  • Assist customers by answering questions about our produce and provide recommendations.
  • Wash, peel, cut, and package various types of fresh produce. Stock and rotate fresh produce.
  • Regularly check the freshness of fruits and vegetables on display. Ensure all produce is fresh.
  • Remove produce items that do not meet our quality standards and/or show signs of spoilage.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist to ensure the produce display area is always well-stocked.
  • Keep up to date with present, future, seasonal and special ads in the produce department.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
