As a Retail Merchandiser at McClellan Air Force Base, you’ll play an important role in supporting established retail customers through effective merchandising, promotional programs, product development, and retail sales strategies. You’ll use sales data, market trends, store demographics, and product performance to help retailers maximize sales volume, distribution, and gross profit.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with retail operations, analyzing sales information, developing merchandising strategies, and collaborating with Sales and Buying teams to drive successful promotions.

Key Retail Merchandiser Job Responsibilities

  • Location: McClellan Air Force Base
  • Retail Sales Strategy: Implement retail sales and merchandising strategies designed to increase product movement, store distribution, sales volume, and gross profit.

Retail Merchandiser Qualifications

  • Age (Required): Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Experience (Preferred): At least 1 year of experience in retail or produce merchandising, or sales experience within the retail or grocery industry.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with team members, customers, and leadership.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows-based computer applications and ability to learn company systems.
  • Customer Service: Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with retail partners.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, understand sales trends, and make informed merchandising decisions.
  • Time Management & Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.
