Description
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for assisting the production supervisor in overseeing the daily operations of repack and all its personal. The production lead will ensure all production orders are complete according to customer specifications, time, packs and cost. Will work with management to ensure efficiency and safety.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Oversees all production activities to ensure accuracy and condition of all orders being shipped out.
  • Manage personnel that handle duties such as inventory, forklift, pallet jack, sorting, grading, stacking and bagging.
  • Ensure the Production area is well maintained and operating effectively.
  • Assure all personnel report to work and have their assignments for the day
  • Accurately completes applicable quality and production reports of every pallet .
  • Physical and visual inspection of product is required to prevent non-conforming goods.
  • Correctly reports all quality defects to the appropriate team members and shift leadership.
  • Demonstrates the aptitude and skill to work in all assigned areas of production; troubleshoots minor production line issues and performs relief duties when required.
  • Will be involved with food safety activities.

Other Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Assemble cardboards boxes
  • Follow the chain of command
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area
  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work to meet assigned deadlines.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.
  • Weekend shift assigned as needed.
