Quanex is looking for a Receiving Warehouse Person - 1st Shift to join our team located in Rice Lake, WI.
The hours for this position are 6:00am - 2:30pm.

The hourly wage for this position is: $21.50 per hour.
What Success Looks Like:
  • Work from orders, schedules, shipping, receiving papers, lists, tally sheets, instructions to check, load correctly marked cartons to achieve economical use of cargo space and to minimize in transit damage
  • Check, weigh count, unload, sign for incoming material; ensure accurate count, report missing product, take photograph of damaged items
  • Operate lift truck to move, pick up, stack, shelve, deliver material, delivery; process outgoing United Parcel Service shipments
  • Load, operate equipment to band material
  • Fill out daily truck maintenance report, perform trailer inspections, check battery, put electric truck on charge at end of shift
  • Report malfunctions, unusual conditions; keep equipment, work area in clean, orderly condition
  • Follow all safety procedures, rules and guidelines; and notify supervisor/team lead of any existing or potential safety issues

Your Credentials:
  • At least 6 months of forklift, warehouse or related work experience preferred
  • Eagerness to learn
  • Attention to detail
