Job Description:


Project Manager is responsible for coordinating purchase requisition requirements, procurement initiation (requisition writing) and tracking of equipment and construction contractor services in support of a large infrastructure project. This role integrates equipment acquisition from inception to installation with the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), liaises between the Integrated Product Team (IPT) and procurement services, supports tracking of critical equipment and budget activities, and supports critical path analysis to help meet project objectives.

Essential Functions:

  • Liaise between cross-functional IPT and procurement to translate project requirements and initiate requisitions.

  • Captures and coordinates cut sheet, rigging, installation requirements, and facility acceptance tests between IPT, Procurement, and general contractor.

  • Prepare, process, and track purchase requisitions for equipment and contractor services, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.

  • Monitor fulfillment of critical equipment needs and track long-lead items required for project milestones.

  • Integrate lead times and delivery timelines into the IMS and communicate schedule dependencies and risks.

  • Conduct and support critical path analysis and actions to mitigate lead time impact.

  • Support project budget tracking by providing timely procurement status and input to project controls/finance teams.

  • Prepare procurement status updates, risk summaries, and presentations for stakeholders.

  • Assist with process improvements and ensure compliance with all organizational standards and safety guidelines.

  • 20% Travel required.

  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience in procurement, requisition writing, or project management related to equipment and/or construction contractors OR Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience in procurement, requisition writing, or project management related to equipment and/or construction contractors OR in lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience in procurement, requisition writing, or project management related to equipment and/or construction contractors.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with IMS integration and cross-functional teamwork.

  • Proficiency with relevant procurement and project management tools.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • PMP or equivalent certification.

  • Experience with large infrastructure projects and construction scheduling.

  • Familiarity with budget support and critical path methods.
