As a leading employer on the Outer Banks for over 40 years, Kitty Hawk Kites is hiring a Buying and Procurement Intern for 2026! Internships last a minimum of 12 weeks. This is an internship role within the Buying Department team.  This person provides administrative support to the buyers and general merchandising.
Key Responsibilities: 
•    Provide essential support to the buying team to ensure the function runs smoothly, 
•    Day to day administrative support. You will actively support the buying team, taking phone calls, responding to store communication and vendor requests. 
•    Support buyers with necessary information they need for their department.
•    Input information regarding orders and inventory management accurately. 
•    Respond to supplier calls and store queries.
•    To adapt to the needs of the buying team and respond to ad hoc requests relevant to the role.
•    May assist with inventory processing and retail operations. 
•    Commitment to core values. 
•    Expect to be working in a retail location a minimum of 3 Days per week.
•    Your work week will be 40 Hours and up to 6 days with opportunities for Overtime.
