Job description

Purchasing Analyst I
Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Purchasing Analyst I to join our Purchasing team at our corporate office in Somerville, MA.
This highly motivated, data-driven individual will be responsible for supporting the Purchasing department in coordinating and managing the procurement of goods and services. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient order management, accurate data entry, and timely resolution of purchasing-related issues.
This position is based at our corporate office in Somerville, MA and is not a remote position. We are seeking U.S.-based candidates who are authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

This position reports to the Associate Director of Procurement Operations. This role will be fully onsite at our corporate office in Somerville, MA for the first 90 days. After 90 days, the position will follow a hybrid schedule approved by the manager and Human Resources.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain procurement reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business decision-making.
  • Assist with spend analysis, supplier analysis, market research, and sourcing-related projects.
  • Support Power BI reporting and the ongoing enhancement of procurement dashboards and KPIs.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data and translate findings into clear business recommendations.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of procurement data, reporting, and dashboards.
  • Support Oracle Fusion procurement activities, including system-related requests, testing, troubleshooting, and user support.
  • Partner with team members on process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support ad hoc procurement projects and business analysis as needed.

Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with Power Query and DAX in PowerBI.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets, identify trends and opportunities, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and communicate effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving mindset and willingness to take ownership of assignments.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
  • Must have reliable transportation.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion, including the Procurement module, reporting tools such as OTBI and BI Publisher, and data modeling.
  • Exposure to procure-to-pay processes, purchase orders, supplier onboarding, or procurement operations.
  • Familiarity with Procurement KPIs, spend analytics, supplier performance, or cost-savings reporting.
  • Experience with advanced SQL, including CTEs and window functions.
