CPMG offers flexible, integrative solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) contractors, among others, and specializes in cybersecurity, information and operational technology, electronic security surveillance, and support services.

Summary:

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for evaluating vendors based on price, quality, reliability, and technical support.  The Procurement Specialist will contract the appropriate product to be delivered and discover the best ways to cut procurement and shipping expenses, so that the program can operate within the budget and timeline.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate pricing/terms, and maintain strong vendor relationships to secure favorable terms and pricing.
  • Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure the organization achieves its procurement goals efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, orders, costs and receipts to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials and services, ensuring that all purchases meet the organization's specifications and quality standards.
  • Work closely with other departments to align procurement strategies with organizational and client goals to ensure accurate effective, timely and efficient procurements.
