Job Title:  Pro Shop Manager 

Reports To: Director of Member Experience  

FLSA Status:  Exempt, Full Time   

Position Summary 

The Pro Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing daily retail operations within the Flatrock Motorclub Pro Shop while supporting merchandise purchasing, inventory management, and member sales experiences. This role combines hospitality, retail sales, inventory coordination, and procurement responsibilities to ensure the pro shop remains well-stocked, visually appealing, and aligned with the Flatrock brand. 

The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering a luxury member experience. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

Retail & Member Experience 

  • Greet members and guests in a professional and welcoming manner  

  • Assist members with apparel, merchandise, accessories, and retail purchases  

  • Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a luxury hospitality experience  

  • Process retail transactions accurately through point-of-sale systems  

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards within the pro shop  

  • Assist with merchandising displays, seasonal setups, and promotional product placement  

Procurement & Inventory 

  • Assist with sourcing, ordering, and purchasing merchandise, apparel, gifts, and retail inventory  

  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs proactively  

  • Receive, organize, and track incoming shipments and deliveries  

  • Coordinate vendor communications and maintain purchasing records  

  • Help identify new merchandise opportunities aligned with the Flatrock Motorclub brand  

  • Conduct routine inventory counts and assist with inventory management processes  

Operational Support 

  • Assist with Track Day retail operations and special events  

  • Support clubhouse and hospitality operations as needed during peak events  

  • Work collaboratively with leadership to ensure product offerings align with member preferences and club branding  

  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all member-facing interactions  

  • Support additional operational or hospitality-related duties as assigned 

Qualifications 

  • Previous retail management experience of 3 years or more if preferred. 

  • Previous retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred  

  • Experience with inventory management, purchasing, or procurement strongly preferred  

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills  

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities  

  • Professional appearance and positive attitude  

  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment  

  • Basic computer and point-of-sale system knowledge preferred  

  • Interest in motorsports, luxury hospitality, or automotive culture is a plus  

  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and Track Days as needed 

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions 

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time  

  • Ability to lift and carry merchandise shipments up to 40 pounds  

  • Frequent walking, bending, reaching, and organizing inventory  

  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors during events and Track Days  

  • Fast-paced hospitality and retail environment with occasional evening and weekend hours required
