About the Job

Frank Darling is a fast-growing fine jewelry brand specializing in custom engagement rings, with a strong digital presence and showrooms in New York, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., Chicago, and Los Angeles.

As a Diamond Procurement Associate, you’ll sit at the center of our diamond flow—working directly with suppliers and our gemology team to source, track, and prepare exceptional stones for real clients, in real time. This role is ideal for someone who loves details, thrives in organized chaos, and wants hands-on exposure to how a modern fine jewelry brand actually operates, from memo to moment-of-yes.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with diamond and gemstone suppliers

  • Manage the gemology inbox, responding to supplier inquiries and updates in a timely manner

  • Assist the procurement team with memoing, tracking, and processing stones

  • Process sold stones and ensure accurate documentation

  • Prepare diamonds for client appointments and internal reviews

  • Provide regular stone status updates to suppliers

  • Flag and escalate credit or returns issues to the appropriate team

Requirements & Experience
  • Working knowledge of diamond and gemstone terminology

  • Familiarity with both lab-grown and natural diamonds

  • Ability to read and interpret diamond and gemstone certificates from multiple labs

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

  • Comfortable multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-moving environment

  • Team-oriented and able to collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders

  • Proficient in Excel and online search/databases

  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills

Job Details
  • Full-time, on-site role located in Tribeca

  • Hours: 9AM - 5PM

  • Available schedule: Monday-Friday

  • Salary: 50-55K
