This position will support Prescott's, Inc on site in our Monument, CO office.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our procurement and purchasing activities. The Procurement Assistant will assist in preparing purchase orders, maintaining procurement records, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Procurement Manager
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders for full microscopes and accessories
  • Maintain and update procurement records, including supplier information, order history, and invoices
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of purchase orders throughout the procurement cycle
  • Coordinate the shipping and logistics to ensure timely and accurate delivery of purchase orders
  • Handle the receiving process for all purchase orders
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and work instructions for relevant activities
  • Ensure efficient inventory management to support uninterrupted operations
  • Operate a forklift to manage inventory movement (training and certification provided)
  • Catalog and organize incoming inventory and accessories in accordance with company procedures
  • Assist in the packing and preparation of surgical microscopes and components, as needed
  • Collaborate with Service and Inventory departments to maintain accurate control of accessory stock
  • Coordinate and execute inventory transfers between departments or locations as required
  • Support the preparation and execution of inventory audits
  • Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Generate and submit inventory reports to the Procurement Manager and Department Head
  • Coordinate inventory improvement activities in assigned areas

Requirements

  • 1+ years working as a procurement assistant, or in a similar role
  • Must have good and reliable transportationย 
  • Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 35 lbs. by yourself
  • Proven experience in a procurement or administrative role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good team player that can work under minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with procurement or ERP software (e.g., NetSuite, FedEx, UPS software) is preferred
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries professionally
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and background screen prior to starting
  • Must be able to work Monday - Friday, 7am to 4pm, at least 40 hours per week

Pay Range: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
