THE WORK
As a Procurement Engineer, you will provide engineering and technical support for the procurement of spare parts across a diverse portfolio of military and commercial aircraft programs. You will work closely with supply chain, engineering, and sustainment teams to ensure critical parts are sourced, evaluated, and delivered to support fleet readiness and customer commitments.
In this role, you will:
Provide engineering support for spare part procurement activities across multiple programs.
Support Military Out-of-Production (OOP) sustainment efforts, ensuring continued supportability for legacy aircraft platforms.
Evaluate technical requirements, drawings, specifications, and supplier data to support procurement decisions.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues and maintain program schedules.
Support procurement activities for the S-92 platform and a variety of Sikorsky legacy programs.
Contribute to strategic sustainment initiatives and special projects that help extend the operational life of critical aircraft systems.
Analyze and resolve technical issues related to part sourcing, qualification, and obsolescence.
Support supplier engagement and manufacturing readiness activities to ensure successful part procurement and delivery.
This position supports several Sikorsky OOP platforms, including the CH-53E Super Stallion, CH-53D Sea Stallion, Legacy Presidential aircraft, Legacy H-60 aircraft, and other strategic sustainment programs as required.
